Your Booking Guide

1

What is it

Sports massage is a targeted form of soft tissue therapy that focuses on realigning deep muscle layers. It is designed to alleviate tension, manage pain, and restore balance to your body, whether you are dealing with chronic stress or common athletic strain.

2

Who is it for

While the name suggests athletes, this treatment is for everyone. It is perfect for gym enthusiasts, desk workers experiencing postural stiffness, or anyone recovering from injury. We tailor every session to your specific physical needs and lifestyle goals.

3

How to prepare

Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing or athletic wear. Stay hydrated before your appointment and avoid eating a heavy meal immediately prior. Arriving five minutes early allows you to relax and fill out a quick consultation form before we begin.

4

The session

Every session starts with a brief assessment to identify problem areas. Your therapist will use various techniques, from deep pressure to stretching, based on your comfort level. Communicating during the treatment helps us ensure you get the best results.

5

Aftercare tips

It is normal to feel some mild tenderness or 'good' soreness for 24 to 48 hours after a deep session. This is part of the muscle healing process. Drinking plenty of water and taking a warm bath can help soothe your body as your muscles start to recover.

6

Booking frequency

For maintenance and injury prevention, we recommend booking a session every 4 to 6 weeks. If you are training for a specific event or recovering from a recent injury, a more frequent short-term plan may be better. We can discuss a schedule during your visit.
